the pieta (north country style) © cinemascapist 2007Not sure about the rest of the world or other artist, but this economic slump has done wonders for me and my work. Instead of planning, organizing, marketing, producing, and traveling for exhibits to show my work which really just consisted of drinking in excess with strangers who become new friends and sales to break even. I have now become a hermit up here in the mountains, come up with way too many projects than I could ever possibly accomplish, yet feel completely reinvigorated and excited about the approaching winter and the few concepts I am trying to begin.
I really wouldn't mind another 12 months of this economic slump.
