art making a difference.

I donated the above exhibiton print to a photography gallery in Pittsburgh, PA (where the shot was taken) for their annual fundraiser auction. Being raised for 19 years of my life in the burgh, I was very happy to donate to this print to help raise money for this not-for-profit gallery.

I just got word yesterday that it went for almost double it's value and will come close to paying their electric bill for 2008! It's a nice feeling to know that my dark image has shed light for a good cause. (OK... that was an awful pun)
