"idea", circa the time I was toying with stuff
sometimes I have an idea as evidenced in the one above that digressed via alcohol consumption. I'm not sure where this one will take me, but I've begun work on a movie. I've had this story (very short, no dialogue) of a day in the life of a schizophrenic. Shot in cinemascape fashion with the assistance of a local and friend and film production connoisseur named Timothy "Hollywood" Brearton. His name says it all right?
Not looking to start a new career or produce a major motion picture, I've always just wanted to tell this schizophrenic story in a 4-5 minute short. Using easily recognizable scenes and locations from the cinemascape series I've always wanted to see them living and breathing. To follow them through a beginning and end even if the story is convoluted as hell.
Perhaps if schedules workout and I can actually create a somewhat cohesive storyboard by mid-summer I can share a few clips or works in progress with everyone.
to be continued...
note: Artistic ideas come and go, some might be brilliant, some mediocre, and others can suck big time. But don't hesitate, don't fully think them out, don't debate pros or cons in your head. In the words of the most famous marketing campaign ever... "just do it". This is just how I guide my creative process, doing not thinking, it just seems natural to go with one's gut and not by external pressures or what you may have learned in some school.

to show how compulsive I am and to get him on the same page as myself, I emailed "hollywood" my partner on this gig and told him to pretend as if Jesus Christ himself commissioned this film and it was due yesterday.
